4. Point Loma - With its placement high above San Diego Bay, Point Loma offers some of the best views of the San Diego area. Point Loma is home to the Cabrillo National Monument signifying the landing of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo as the first European to arrive on what would later become the west coast of the United States of America. Along with the opportunity to enjoy magnificent views of the city, Point Loma also offers a lighthouse and a small museum for the public to enjoy.

5. San Diego Aerospace Museum - Focusing on the history of flight, the San Diego Aerospace Museum includes exhibits related to everything from modern flight to the days of hot air balloons. The amount of exhibits available in the San Diego Aerospace Museum make it a great place for both children and adults alike.
